Antes de Navidad. "Before Christmas." A full-color mariachi skeleton Halloween graphic tee on a semi-fitted black women's tee, designed in Los Angeles.
A skeleton mariachi in a charro suit sings to a giant orange moon, over a hill of grinning pumpkins and marigolds. Black shirt, full-color print, a little spooky and a lot of Mexico.
The name is the season: those weeks before Christmas when the pumpkins are still out, the ofrenda is going up and the lights are not quite on yet.
It's the Halloween shirt for the girl who grew up with a Dia de Muertos altar and a pumpkin on the same porch. Wear it to the pumpkin patch, the panteon, the Halloween party that turns into a serenata.
Inside the neck there's a small Collectibility Shop print. Nobody sees it unless you let them.
It's a semi-fitted women's tee, light and soft, with side seams and a ribbed collar. Black, so the moon glows.
Gift it to the friend who starts decorating on September 1, your prima who puts cempasuchil on everything, or anyone who thinks the best Halloween has a trumpet in it.
