Calavera Stomper tee. A Chicano punk skeleton graphic shirt in black or brown, designed in Los Angeles.
One calavera, mid-stomp. Sombrero on, bandoliers across the ribs, mustache intact, boot coming down hard. White ink on a dark shirt, drawn like a flyer somebody stapled to a pole in Boyle Heights.
This one is for the backyard shows. The ones with a drum kit on the patio, an extension cord through the kitchen window and a pit that opens up next to the lemon tree.
Turn around and there's a small culture code strip near the neck: LA, baseball, vinyl, skull. Not everybody clocks it. The ones who do get it.
It's a lightweight jersey tee with a retail fit, easy to layer under a flannel or wear alone. Black or brown. Wear it to the pit, or the carne asada.
